Further information

The Fassisi PiDia light is an immunochromatographic rapid test that checks the faeces of young animals for diarrhoea pathogens. By using the double cassette, two very common diarrhoea pathogens can be reliably detected, which are very difficult to identify with the usual diarrhoea symptoms alone.

The test provides reliable results within a short time, so that the early and unambiguous detection of the pathogens involved in the "diarrhoea process" can reduce both economic losses and the use of antibiotics. Used as a screening instrument, the test can show the current pathogen situation in the herd and can also be used before vaccinations to make sure if there is no existing infection.
